United Progressives for Peace is not a political party but an umbrella organization designed specifically for uniting candidates in politics who support a peaceful world, no matter what their party affiliation. Politicians and ordinary people who believe strongly that invading other countries that don't pose a direct threat to the USA is not only illegal but also morally reprehensible, are encouraged to gather under the umbrella of United Progressives for Peace. We call together Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney, Mike Gravel and all other proponants of ending the wars now, to unite for PEACE with Ralph Nader. United Progressives for Peace supports Ralph Nader for President in 2008 because although Kucinich, Gravel, McKinney or Paul would all make excellent US Presidents; each would return the nation to justice, truth, and peace in their own way. We simply believe that Ralph Nader is now the most viable candidate... and really, he's earned the trust of the people to hold this position with a lifetime of protecting the ordinary citizen.
